Friday night marked the opening of the 20th Anniversary Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival at the TIFF Lightbox.
We went to see King Curling or "Kong Curling" by Ole Endresen, Norway 2011.
I really enjoyed the film and thought is was very funny. In fact, for me one of the key things I noticed was that it was so well acted out that a lot of the time I didnt even need to read the subtitles.
I was also very pleasantly surprised when before the film I saw my artwork from Beneath the Surface up on the big screen! That was very cool and very unexpected.
The festival runs all week and if you have a chance I would highly recommend taking in at least one of the flicks.
Join me next Saturday, where I will be on the discussion panel for the film, Little Bird. Little Bird shows at 11am at Workman Arts.
